Inch Perfect Trials is the UK’s leading motorcycle trials experience day and training centre, based in Lancashire in the Ribble Valley. We offer beginner-friendly motorcycle trials riding experiences, full day trials experience days, private motorbike trials lessons and corporate group events for ages 6+ and adults of all abilities. Level 0: Absolute Beginners
Zero previous motorcycle experience & riders with CBTThis level will introduce you to the very basics of riding a motorcycle trials bike. Choose either a Two Hour Taster Session or jump straight into a Full Day Experience. Suitable for ages 12+
Level 1 & 2: Beginners
Road, track, enduro & motocross ridersThis level will introduce you to the basics of riding a motorcycle trials bike and build on your motorcycle experience. Choose either a Two Hour Taster Session or opt for a Full Day Experience. Suitable for ages 12+
Level 3 & 4: Intermediate
Experienced motocross/enduro riders & trials riders (TRIALS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)This level will build on your previous off-road motorcycle and trials riding experience to help improve your skill and technique. Full Day Training available. Trials experience is required. Suitable for ages 12+
Level 5: Advanced
Experienced trials ridersAimed at competitive riders and regular practice riders who want to sharpen their skills. Opt for Private Training or an Advanced Skills session. Ages 12+

Yes. Our Two-Hour Taster Sessions and Absolute Beginners Full Day Experiences are specifically designed for absolute beginners who have never ridden a motorcycle before. You will be guided through everything step by step by an experienced instructor, starting on easy terrain and progressing at a pace that suits you.

This is completely normal, especially if it is your first time riding. Instructors are used to working with nervous beginners and will take things at a pace that builds confidence gradually. There is no pressure to attempt anything you are not comfortable with.

Trials riding operates in most weather conditions, including rain. If conditions are deemed unsafe, the session may be adjusted or rescheduled. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day. In cases of severe weather warnings, such as snow or ice, we will reschedule in advance where necessary.

For riders with no or little motorcycle experience, the sessions primarily uses modern electric trials bikes, as they are easier to ride and allow beginners to focus on balance and control without worrying about gears or a clutch. Electric trials bikes available include the EM Epure FACTOR-e, EM Epure Race and the EM Epure entry-level electric trials bike with PRB (Progressive Regenerative Brake). Electric bikes feature fully adjustable power delivery, allowing performance to increase as confidence improves throughout the day.
For experienced riders, we offer a wide selection of modern trials bikes, and your instructor will help choose the most suitable option for you on the day. Electric trials bikes available include the EM Epure FACTOR-e, the EM Epure Race and the EM Epure entry-level electric trials bike with PRB (Progressive Regenerative Brake). Electric bikes feature fully adjustable power delivery, allowing performance to increase as confidence improves. Petrol trials bikes available include the Beta Evo 250 (2-stroke) and the Montesa Cota 4RT 260 (4-stroke). Please note that petrol bikes are geared, use a clutch and may require kick-starting.

Completing a Beginner Level 1 or Level 2 session does not automatically qualify riders for an Intermediate session. It generally takes 3 to 4 sessions to progress to Intermediate level. Riders should check with their instructor before booking.

Having booked a days riding experience with Inch Perfect, for myself and my 15 yr old daughter (her idea), the weather was fabulous, the location was wonderful and the staff were excellent, enthusiastic and friendly. Our instructor for the day, 'the very Yorkshire' Nigel, was excellent in his approach to total beginners, taking his time to guide my daughter through the day, to the point of running up and down dale, alongside her, to ensure she was safe and in good hands. Fantastic experience, I haven’t ridden a trails bike in years and wanted to refresh my trails riding. The instructor John was brilliant and really helped to regain my riding confidence. Huge plot at 100 acres with areas for all abilities. I highly recommend inch perfect and will be back to do my level 4.

This is an experience you have to try, it was so enjoyable. The instructor Simon was very patient and professional and helped me gain the confidence to do things on the bike I never thought I'd be able to do. The bikes are clean, maintained to a high standard and a joy to ride and the whole day was planned very well. This is something I will do again when i have the chance, excellent all round.

Booked a party for a stag do, inch perfect was very helpful in accommodating our party, we hired kit, bikes and our guide Aaron was helpful and also worked well with the group. A Novice to advanced group we had but Aaron ensured the group all went home happy. Ps the lunch was amazing too 👍
