Full-day outdoor adventure

In order for you to get maximum enjoyment from your day, you need to accurately choose your ability level from the list below.

Motorcycle trials is a completely different skill to all other forms of motorcycling.  We have found that experience of other motorcycle disciplines does not automatically transfer into trials riding ability.

So, we have created a guide to help you gauge your experience below.  If you have been on a training day with us before, please call 01200 448130 (option 3) and we’ll guide you in the right direction.

Level 0: Absoluble beginners.  You have never ridden a motorcycle before.

This level will introduce you to the very basics of riding a motorcycle trials bike.

Level 1: Beginners. You have previously ridden on the road and you have no trials riding experience.

This level will introduce you to the basics of riding a motorcycle trials bike.

Level 2: Beginners.  You have previously ridden off-road and you have no trials riding experience.

This level will introduce you to the basics of riding a motorcycle trials bike.

Level 3: Intermediate. You currently ride road or off-road motorcycles and you have some trials riding experience.

This level will build on your previous motorcycle and trials riding experience to help improve your skill and technique.

Level 4: Intermediate. You currently ride road or off-road motorcycles and you have established trials riding experience.

This level will build on your previous motorcycle and trials riding experience to help improve your skill and technique.

Level 5: Advanced.  You currently ride trials (either competitively or a regular practice rider).

We can supply the bike and all the riding gear as well as full tuition throughout the day. The sessions are delivered in a relaxed manner that can be enjoyed by all (children’s only sessions are also available for ages 6-12 years old). No experience is necessary – please choose your ability level from the list above and book onto a suitable day.

The day starts on the flattish ground doing figures of 8 so the instructor can assess rider ability. This also allows the rider time to get used to the bike and get their body position in the correct position before progressing onto the sections.

The instructor will flag out various sections throughout the day with each one becoming a little more challenging as the rider begins to progress.

Maximum of 18 people per day, split into 3 groups of 6 people to an instructor.

Damage waiver

For all hired bikes, if a bike gets broken due to accident it is the rider’s responsibility to pay for the replacement parts. A damage waiver of only £25 can be obtained which covers the bike for any mishaps and provides peace of mind throughout the day. This can be purchased in the shop when you sign on to your experience if required. For children’s Oset bikes, the damage waiver is a reduced cost of just £15.
