e-trial & Open Day @ Inch Perfect Trials

Bring your own electric trials bike (sorry no Oset or Sur-Ron) or hire one of ours- bike hire is available as long as you have ridden an off-road motorcycle before, been on one of our experience days, or hold a competition licence.  Suitable for ages 10+

For the entry fee, you get:

  • IPT instructors on each section to provide guidance
  • Food token for our catering trailer
  • Punch cards
  • Rosettes and a podium finish
  • Observers on each section
  • Jet wash facilities

If you have never ridden a trial before then no problem! This trial has a class especially for newcomers and we will help you every step of the way!

Open Day

Alongside the e-trial we are also holding an Open Day with fun for all the family!

We will be offering:

  • Free OSET ‘have a go’ sessions for children aged 6-12 (any ability)
  • Free EM test rides for adults (with past motorcycle experience).
  • Bouncy castle
  • Food & drink available
  • Offers in the shop
  • … & more!

Supplementary Regulations for
e-trial @ Inch Perfect Trials

ANNOUNCEMENT: Inch Perfect Trials and EM UK will organise a trial, held under the National Sporting Code, Standing Regulations of the ACU, the North Western Centre Rules current at the time, the following Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions issued for the meeting.

ELIGIBILITY: All riders and passengers must hold a current ACU/SACU Trials Registration Card or ACU/SACU Competition Licence. Any rider or passenger from another FMN must produce a licence issued by their FMN, together with start permission and proof of personal accident insurance.

MACHINES: Electric motorcycles conforming to NSC Appendix D Category 1, Group A1 Solos and TSR 8.

CLASSES: Newcomers and Clubman

START / VENUE: 11am at Inch Perfect Trials, New Hey Barn, Dunsop Road, Whitewell, Clitheroe, BB7 3AU.  Sign on 10am in the shop.

DIRECTIONS: SATNAV: BB7 3AU
The venue is located between the Inn at Whitewell and Dunsop Bridge.  Look out for our signs at the bottom of the drive then follow the road to the top of the hill.  Search ‘Inch Perfect Trials’ on Google Maps for exact location as our postcode takes you to the next farm.

ENTRIES / FEE: Entry Fees: £30 which includes food.

RESULTS: Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each class after the trials and results will be posted on our website: www.inchperfecttrials.co.uk

COURSE: All on private land. No practicing on this land before or after the event.  The course will consist of 8 sections, 4 laps.

COURSES: Newcomer, Clubman

METHOD OF MARKING & TIES: As per TSR22A stop permitted. The onus rests entirely on the rider to ensure the observers have the correct number of scores entered on the observer card. Ties will be resolved as per TSR 23

PROTESTS: Protests as per National Sporting Code of the ACU, section 10.04

(NOTE: In line with National Sporting Code – Article 7.12 (*1); riders will be required to produce their current Competition Licence or Trials Registration when signing on at the start).
