ADVANCED TRAINING DAYS

Regular trials rider and want to up your game? You're in the right place! Our 'Level 5' training days are suitable for riders who currently ride trials - either competitively or a regular practice rider.

LEVEL 5: ADVANCED - SUITABLE FOR AGES 12+ & ADULTS

This Level 5: Advanced day is suitable for people who currently ride trials – either competitively or regularly practice. Before you book, check your level here.

Did you know? We offer a group booking discount for groups of 6, 12 and 18 riders when you book a group HERE. Even better, when you book a full group to yourself, all abilities are welcome to ride together.

What to expect…

We typically run the advanced training sessions as either 1 hour private training or 2 hour skills sessions. Skills sessions are typically Wheelie School, Technical Skills or Trials Park Skills – please check before booking.

Training will start off on flattish ground doing ‘figures of 8’ so your instructor can gauge your ability. Your instructor will tailor the session accordingly, using the man made and natural obstacles on our 100 acre base. Each session is tailored dynamically to the riders ability.

The bikes…

  1. EM Epure FACTOR-e: The Ultimate Electric Trials bike, this bike uses a clutch, gearbox & tickover (As used in the 2024 World Trials 2 Championship, British Championship and Scott Trial alongside their petrol counterparts)
  2. EM Epure Race: Very similar to the Factor-e, still retaining a clutch & tickover but without a gearbox (Latest generation of the bike used in World Championship from 2021-2024, inc Scottish Six Day Trial alongside their petrol counterparts)
  3. EM Epure: Fantastic entry level trials bike, no clutch or gearbox to worry about just Rev and go , also comes with a PRB (Progressive Regenerative Brake) which is best suited to those with a road or mountain biking background, so you can just concentrate on the trials skills. (Used by many riders from leisure to clubman level Trials)

The awesome thing about the EM range is that the power is fully customisable, so as you get better throughout the day we can gradually increase it, so the bike evolves with you the rider, to get the very best out of your day.

Alternatively we also have a selection of petrol bikes; Beta Evo (2T) and Montesa Cota (4T) bikes to choose from. (please be aware that these are all geared bikes with clutches and will frequently require kick starting)

  1. Beta Evo 250 2 stroke Petrol: The latest generation Evo, the bike looks very similar to the first generation which first hit the trials scene around 2009 and due to its longevity is the most common bike found at trials events around the country from novice to expert
  2. Montesa 4rt 260 4 Stroke Petrol: The latest generation Montesa, first released around 2005 the Montesa Honda has received minor tweaks over the years to refine what is a very solid bike with a reputation for great reliability. This is the number 1 choice for 4 stroke riders and used by novice to expert riders alike however, due to its 4 stroke characteristics, is not always as popular at trials events.

Old dog new tricks

Excellent day would recommend it to anyone who loves bikes. Even before the day ended I was already planning a return - especially for the 1 to 1. Lashed it down with rain during the night but by the time we started the day it was clearing up to a perfect albeit a tad greasy day - the climb up the stream over the rocks and the playground of man-made obstacles my favourite . Cheers for a memorable day and your patience.

Such a fantastic place to improve your riding skills

My second visit to Inch Perfect, and again a great day out. Love off road bikes this is the place to come. The team are all very helpful and sincere The practice areas are extremely varied and interesting all set in the stunning scenery of Yorkshire Dales. I really like that the instructors all teach from the heart, and all are experts at the skills. Most of us are quite beginnery and yet only offered encouragement and really helpful tips. I wish I lived closer as I’d be up here every couple of months !

Off road trials riding day

Having done quite a few off road motorcycle experiences, this one has to be probably the best. Excellent set up, very professional. Bikes, safety gear, facilities, tutor, training and location all absolutely fantastic. You actually get taught how to ride trials properly, and not just there to ride around a field. I will definitely be going back with friends etc. I really can't recommend this experience enough. If you're into bikes of any kind, go and have a go. They cater for everyone. 👍
